Horace's Duskywing (Erynnis horatius)

Duskywings present a difficult identification challenge. Females tend to be lighter in color and more modelled. In this species note the white line over the eye, glassy white spots on the forewing including one at end of cell, and the lack of gray overscaling on the forewing.  Compare to similar Juvenal's Duskywing . Flies spring to fall.
